First ever Positively Disabled Meeting


Today was the first ever official meeting of the Positively Disabled Group. This was held in the Diamond suite at Open Door in Albion Street. It started at 10:10am

In attendance was the Chair and Admin (Phillip Dumbrell), Vice Chair (Ronald Bull), Alf Dumbrell (Events), Stephen Blackburn (Co Vice Chair), John Marsh (Events assistant), Robert Dumbrell (Member) and Melanie Onn (Great Grimsby MP).

There were quite a few varied discussions and debates on the following:

Housing Issues

Shared space signage issues

The cry out for our group as the MP mentions

and so on

We are then going to move the meeting to a different venue, which will include more disabled people and their carers,

This will be at Foresight in Newmarket Street. This will be starting on 30 November 2017 at 10am in the Craft Room.
